Let’s talk about affiliates

I’m a stay at home mum and for my creative side, I love to create content. But it’s no longer aligning with my parenting philosophy…

I got into the whole thing thinking I can manage it along with my busy SAHM life (iykyk) and that I will only accept brands I like to work with.

In this season of motherhood, I am overwhelmed. It’s becoming a chore. It’s no longer enjoyable. I’m not as present as I like to be. And I want to go back to being intentional.

Not saying I haven’t been intentional. I feel like I’ve been a little distracted with the whole affiliate thing. I will continue to work with the two main businesses that I love – and that’s all I’m going to add into my “workload” on this social media side.

And I want my content to be as organic as possible. Nothing like a chore. So I’m going to keep it as minimal as possible. No longer accepting other affiliate contracts. Only posting what feels authentic!!

We’re going back to the drawing board babyyyyy!

back to the basics. I tried it for a few months but it’s no longer fun.

Husband has been telling me I don’t need to do it. He’s right. Lol.

So for any future posts I do that has an affiliate attached to it: it’s only because I love the product. I enjoyed making the content. That’s it.
